Look David, who says I don't go out?

I just like a night out with the girls much more than hitting the club circuit hard, that's all. ;D
The party at the Albatross club was not bad the other night, but Weiming was right when he told me most of the music they play is strange to us because it's all Eurotrance. I found myself quite amused when I was the only person at the club who didn't know how to chant the lyrics to every song quite like we do back home at Mambo.

Anyhoos, drinks and conversation made while lounging around is always fine by me. Heidi, Nath and I talked about everything from European migration to our disdain for female circumcision practiced in Africa, from laundry problems to impending plans to host the respective boyfriends when they come over.

This is Nathalie (Djamila Conrad. Yay I got the name right finally!) looking very pleased with her cocktail.

But she could also have been smiling so widely because she was in the middle of recounting how her boyfriend Mica appeared with a rose when she stepped off the train on a short visit back to Bern.

And because girls always have a separate stomach for nibbles and dessert,

Next week when their boyfriends come and mine doesn't descend on Belgian soil until a full week after theirs leave, I will be a lonely girl :(
